You know who’s great? Well… lots of people, but I’m referring specifically to TONYE. She was one of the first performers to play the lobby stage over a year ago, she hosts Live from Guilt and Company on RHR every Sunday, and she is one hell of a singer. So happy she has new music out now and made time to stop by for a chat and performance.
Vancouver’s GAY NINETIES were recently on the cover of the Georgia Straight. They have a brand new album called Decadent Days; 8 fantastic pop/rock gems including the first single, Big Love, which they played live in studio. It took some time, but we finally got THE MATINEE on the lobby stage with TDM on Monday. And ZANE BARRATT showed off his impressive song writing skills and guitar playing Wednesday. Of course, you can check these out if you missed them, at http://www.roundhouseradio.com/LiveFromRailtown.aspx
Next week, it’s local music from FRANKIE as well as an Oscar preview with Georgia Straight film critic, Ken Eisner. Thanks for listening!
